Sarah Roberts - Associate

Sarah qualified as a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and has fifteen years experience of working both in-house and as an external consultant. She currently specialises in the areas of Coaching, Leadership and Team Development.

Sarah began her career at Manchester University where she researched into personal skills training and culture change. A move to CGR followed in 1995, and the next 10 years of her working life were spent in consultancy before she moved to an in-house position in Barclays Bank.

At Barclays, she was involved in the areas of leadership development, team-building, change-management and coaching. Sarah worked on numerous high profile projects within each of these areas, leading her first towards a position as a Talent & Leadership Consultant - working with leadership teams to assist them in achieving their business objectives and supporting the identification and development of talent - and a subsequent internal move to take up the position of Head of Learning for IT. In this position she identified training and development needs and sourced training provision for a function in excess of 3,000 people. Sarah then decided to move back into consultancy where she now enjoys a successful freelance career and is one of CGR's most valued associates.

Sarah graduated from the University of East London with a BSc in Psychology. She followed this with an MSc in Occupational Psychology at the University of Wales in 1993. She is BPS Level A and B qualified, is an NLP Practitioner and has an Advanced Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring. A past president of the University of East London Sub-Aqua Club, Sarah would be willing to offer preferential terms to any client who has ongoing work in the Caribbean.
